
Lemon Pie it’s a very easy recipe to prepare. It is very common around the world and it’s normally prepared with a crunchy base, a lemon cream and a decoration made of meringue. In this recipe I will show you how to prepare this amazing pie in only few steps! 😉

Preparation time:
For the base= 10 minutes + 5 minutes in the oven
For the cream= 10 minutes + 5 minutes in the oven
For the meringue= 10 minutes + 3 minutes in the oven
Ingredients:
For the base:
- 200g chopped vanilla cookies
- 70-80g margarine
For the cream:
- 1 jar of condensed milk
- 3 egg yolks
- zest 1 green lemon
- juice of 3 green lemons
For the meringue:
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 cup white sugar
Instructions:
- First of all let’s prepare the cream by mixing the eggs with the lemon zest and juice.

- Then add the condensed milk and set apart.

- Heat the oven at 180ºC.
- For the base mix with your hands the vanilla cookies and the margarine and place in a openable circular tin.

- Bake the base for 5 minutes.

- Place on top of it the cream and bake for another 5 minutes.
- Now set the pie apart and prepare the meringue by whipping very well the egg whites.
- Then add 1/3 of the sugar and mix, add the rest of it and mix again until it is very smooth, absorbed and compact.

- Place the meringue in a pastry bag with star-shaped mouth and make your own decoration.
- Place 2-3 minutes in the oven until the meringue it’s browny, let the pie cool and place in the fridge! Enjoy 😉
